The LP LED Underwater Light by FX Luminaire is the brand’s smallest integrated LED solution for submersible applications, crafted specifically for compact spaces where refined, architectural lighting is needed. Ideal for water features and aquatic design elements, the LP blends robust performance with aesthetic elegance. Constructed from die-cast C360 natural brass with a tumbled finish, it offers long-term durability in submerged environments, while its minimalist form adds visual appeal without overpowering the design.
The LP features integrated Cree® LED technology and is available in 1LED, 3LED, and ZDC configurations, delivering lumen outputs ranging from 74 to 173 lumens. Its built-in 90° beam spread ensures broad and even illumination, and the fixture supports phase-cut dimming or full Luxor® Technology compatibility, depending on the model. With Luxor zoning, dimming, and color control available in the ZDC version, designers gain tremendous flexibility for layered, dynamic lighting effects. The LP is also compatible with wildlife-friendly amber LEDs and comes with field-serviceable, polycarbonate color temperature lenses offering a range from 2700K to 5200K.
Engineered for performance and reliability, the fixture incorporates MoistureBlock™ Technology in the socket to prevent internal moisture ingress, along with gold-plated connectors and conformal coating for corrosion resistance. An onboard intelligent driver monitors thermal conditions to optimize LED life, rated at a minimum of 55,000 hours. The system operates on low-voltage 10–15V AC/DC power and requires a remote transformer, which must be specified separately. Wiring includes a 30-foot length of 16 AWG cable rated at 300V and 220°F (105°C).
The LP’s lens is crafted from tempered frosted glass, designed to handle thermal stress and physical impact, and the die-cast brass faceplate includes tamper-resistant T15 Torx screws. An integrated support stand allows for stable installation, while the fixture is designed to operate underwater only, at depths up to 10 feet (3 meters), and in any orientation. Its ambient operating range spans from 0°F to 140°F (-18°C to 60°C), ensuring reliable function across various climates.
Weighing just 1.0 lb (0.5 kg), the LP is compact and versatile, with sustainability in mind—FX Luminaire utilizes recycled materials where possible without compromising performance.
