The XN-70 Grande In-Grade, part of the new Exa Collection, delivers high-output performance with the simplicity of low-voltage operation. Engineered with marine-grade 316 stainless steel and a die-cast aluminum housing, it features a two-layer anodization and a durable polyester TGIC powder-coated finish, offering superior corrosion resistance. Rated IP68 and designed for drive-over durability, the fixture is built to withstand harsh environments while delivering professional-grade lighting. With integrated Cree® LED technology, the XN-70 achieves up to 1,030 lumens and offers beam options including spot, flood, and wide flood.
The fixture is fully compatible with Luxor® Technology, enabling zoning, dimming, and even RGBW color-changing functionality in the ZDC version. Users can assign up to 250 groups, adjust brightness in 1% increments, or select from 30,000 colors. Internal adjustability allows 360° rotation and 20° tilt, providing precise beam aiming while maintaining a clean, recessed installation. The fixture is designed for upward, in-grade applications only.
Available in two CCTs—2700K and 3000K—the XN-70 features a proprietary PowerBoard® with gold-plated connectors, a potted driver for durability, and an intelligent firmware-controlled thermal management system to maximize LED lifespan. The minimum rated L70 life is 72,000 hours for standard output (H1) and 55,000 hours for RGBW (ZDC). Output efficacy reaches up to 58 lumens per watt, and color rendering reaches a CRI of 84. Illumination performance varies by beam angle and output type. For instance, in spot mode, the fixture delivers 30.4 fc at 10 feet, with a beam width of just over 4 feet.
The lens is made from high-optical purity glass and is tested to withstand static loads of up to 4,400 lbs (2,000 kg), making it suitable for both walk-over and drive-over installations. MoistureBlock™ Technology within the Molex connector prevents moisture ingress, preserving the integrity of the luminaire’s sealed components. Power input is 10–15V for standard and ZD models, and 11–15V for ZDC configurations. All versions require a remote transformer, specified separately.
Wiring consists of a bottom-entry, 3-foot SOW cable with 16 AWG conductors, rated for 105°C and 600V. The optical system allows serviceable beam and CCT components, providing flexibility for field modifications. Faceplate screws are Teflon-coated for additional corrosion resistance, and the polished stainless steel finish is tested to meet rigorous ASTM standards.
The fixture is manufactured in an ISO 9001:2015 certified facility and meets IEC 60598-1 and IEC 60598-2-13 standards for international compliance. It operates reliably in ambient temperatures ranging from 0°F to 140°F (-18°C to 60°C) and weighs approximately 5.5 lbs (2.5 kg).
