This setup yields a tilt angle of roughly 35°, providing uniform brightness across the vertical surface.

Technically, the Opton luminaire incorporates ERCO’s Spherolit lens technology with a wide variety of light distributions, including narrow spot, spot, flood, wide flood, extra wide flood, oval flood (adjustable through 90°), and wallwash. Its ERCO LED modules feature high-power LEDs available in warm white (2700K or 3000K) or neutral white (3500K or 4000K), paired with a collimating lens made from high-grade optical polymer. The light head is tiltable from 0° to 90°, constructed from powder-coated cast aluminium in finishes of white (RAL9002), black, or silver. The housing is similarly available in matching finishes and rotates 360° on the adapter for precise alignment.
Control options for Opton are flexible, including switchable, phase dimmable with on-board dim, DALI dimmable, and Casambi Bluetooth. The phase dimmable + on-board dim variant allows both external dimming via trailing-edge dimmers and manual adjustment through an integrated rotary control. The luminaire is compatible with ERCO’s 3-circuit adapter and ERCO DALI adapter systems, supporting a wide range of professional lighting infrastructures.
