Spective™ Suspended is a refined convergence of timeless form and modern lighting innovation, crafted to echo the elegant simplicity of the iconic fluorescent tube while incorporating cutting-edge LED technology. At the heart of its design is a prominent center-lit strip embedded within a rail-shaped opal acrylic diffuser. This luminous element draws a continuous line of light down the center, creating a striking visual rhythm that enhances the fixture’s presence in any space. The diffuser is framed with anodized trim—available in black, gold, or silver—that emphasizes the fixture’s linearity, producing a graphic quality along its profile. A unique wave-textured lens adds dimensional character, while flawlessly rounded end caps reinforce the fixture’s cohesive aesthetic and versatile appeal.
Suspended by steel cables with a silver braided power cable, Spective blends effortlessly into contemporary interiors, acting as both a sculptural focal point and a functional lighting solution. Its aluminum housing, finished in a durable powder coat, offers both lightweight strength and long-term durability. The fixture mounts directly over a standard junction box (by others), ensuring seamless installation in a range of environments.
Spective is powered by high power factor (HPF) electronic drivers, supporting 120–277V and 347V (EU-240V) configurations. The drivers are integral to the housing, simplifying the system and reducing installation complexity. The luminaire can also be integrated into smart building infrastructure using Power over Ethernet (PoE) connectivity, enabling data and power delivery through a single cable. For enhanced control and automation, Spective is compatible with a wide variety of sensor and wireless control systems, including Avi-On, Casambi, Enlighted, Lutron Vive, nLight, NX Lighting Controls, Osram, and Philips. Designers can also specify a Tunable White option, which allows dynamic adjustment of color temperature from 2700K to 6500K, supporting circadian lighting strategies and adaptable visual ambiance.
An optional integral emergency lighting system is available, providing up to 1.5 hours of battery backup (3 hours in EU models). This self-contained unit includes the inverter module, NiCad batteries, a charge indicator, and a test switch (NA only), and is not compatible with 347V systems. Spective is engineered for longevity, achieving a reported L70 of over 60,000 hours and an estimated L70 of more than 165,000 hours at 25°C (77°F), with output up to 2000 lumens per foot (6000 lumens per meter).
Damp-rated for use in interior environments with humidity exposure, Spective Suspended is also available with seismic bracing kits to meet regional compliance requirements.
