The Tall Lite Wall luminaire was developed following the success of the original Corten steel bollard Tall, created by Jan and Hans Forsmark for the renowned Tree Hotel architectural project in Norrbotten. Responding to requests for an expanded range, the brothers designed a small family that includes façade and wall luminaires alongside a variant of the original bollard. Aluminium was chosen as the primary material for the Tall Lite series, allowing for easy customization of colors through powder coating, while maintaining a fully recyclable composition.
Tall Lite retains the distinctive artistic style of the Tall bollard, characterized by exceptional shading and excellent light quality. Now available in cast aluminium, the wall-mounted version allows this same refined and uniform expression to be extended to façades and ground-level installations, creating a cohesive lighting design across various architectural elements. The luminaire’s clear and straight shape enhances its modern aesthetic, and a signboard accessory is available for displaying numerals and letters, with standard options from 0-9 and A-C, and custom signs available upon request.
Constructed with a luminaire housing in cast aluminium and a cover made from 4 mm aluminium sheet, the Tall Lite Wall is designed for durability and style. Installation involves mounting brackets that are attached to walls with appropriate screws, and an option for external cable connection is offered. The electrical connection uses a terminal block rated for 3x2.5 mm² wiring, with through wiring possible within the luminaire housing to facilitate flexible setups.
The luminaire includes an LED light source available in 3000K color temperature, with 4000K available upon request. It offers a color rendering index (CRI) of 80, with a lifespan rated at L90 B10 for 50,000 hours and L70 B10 for 100,000 hours. The product’s energy classification is Class E, corresponding to its efficiency with CRI and color temperatures of 830/840. The diffuser is made of frosted acrylic sheet (PMMA), which ensures soft, even light distribution. For models equipped with DALI, the driver features transient protection up to 8 kV, supporting long-term reliability.
The Tall Lite Wall is rated IK07 for impact resistance and weighs 2.5 kg, making it sturdy yet manageable for installation. Its corrosion protection meets the C3 category, making it suitable for urban and industrial environments with moderate sulfur dioxide pollution or coastal areas with some salt influence. For harsher conditions with higher pollution levels, a special corrosion-resistant treatment can be requested and quoted separately, ensuring durability in a variety of outdoor settings.
