The Topaz Zoom Profile is a precision-engineered framing and gobo projection fixture that delivers razor-sharp, framed light beams with exceptional clarity. Its advanced lens system incorporates eight meticulously crafted lenses, providing not only outstanding projection sharpness but also excellent output efficiency. This system was developed after extensive testing of hundreds of lens combinations to achieve the perfect balance between light quality and power performance.
One of the standout features of the Topaz Profile is its adjustable zoom range of 25° to 40°, offering maximum flexibility for a variety of installation scenarios. Whether mounted on Global or Eutrac tracks, the fixture can be precisely aimed thanks to its smooth swivel range of 360° horizontal and 90° vertical. Adjustment rings located on the fixture allow for quick, accurate tuning of both zoom and focus, making it ideal for applications that require frequent repositioning or fine-tuned beam shaping.
The Topaz Profile is compatible with both Bridgelux and Xicato XOB LED light sources, trusted by lighting professionals for their high-quality light characteristics. With CRI values reaching up to ~98 and R9 values around ~95 in the 3000K version, these LEDs produce rich, vibrant, and accurate color rendering. Tunable White versions are also available with CRI ~95 in temperature ranges of 1800K–4000K and 2700K–6500K, controlled via DMX. Additional LED color configurations can be requested, subject to minimum order quantities.
In addition to sharp beam projection, the Topaz Profile excels in gobo projection. Its innovative optical design ensures crisp, detailed gobo images without distortion or unwanted color artifacts—such as the common "blue line" effect found in many other LED profiles. The fixture supports gobos with an internal diameter of 15mm and an external diameter of 30mm (up to 3mm thick). The gobo holder is included and conveniently located within the Profile Extension, streamlining setup and use.
Unlike other models in the Topaz series, the Profile variant features a screw-mounted accessory holder for secure attachment of lighting accessories. This design allows for stable configuration during use while maintaining flexibility for different lighting needs. A wide range of dimming options are supported, including Mains Dim, Local Dim, Roto Dim, Casambi, DALI, DMX512, and combinations like Casambi & Local Dim in one adapter, ensuring compatibility with modern control systems.
Just like its counterparts in the Jade and Focus series, the Topaz Profile offers beautiful, even light distribution with soft beam edges and advanced color rendering. Its output quality is validated by high CRI as well as strong performance in TM30 and CQS evaluations. Despite its compact footprint and a power consumption of just 15 watts, the Topaz delivers a surprisingly high effective light output that outperforms many higher-powered fixtures.
