Its design allows for 330 degrees of rotation and provides a 90-degree cutoff, delivering both flexibility and effective glare control. Each unit includes a lightweight, high-efficiency lens with 93% transmission, ensuring maximum light output and consistent quality.
Available in individual or continuous straight-run sections with a minimum length of two feet, the Commalite offers lumen outputs ranging from 330 to 1150 lm/ft depending on the configuration, including white, decorative, tunable white, RGB, and RGBW lamping options. With power consumption between 3.1 and 10.7 W/ft and efficacy of up to 108 lm/W, the fixture balances strong performance with energy efficiency. Multiple color temperature choices (2700K, 3000K, 3500K, and 4000K) are available, along with CRI ratings of 80 or 90+ for accurate color rendering. The fixture’s optical flexibility is complemented by mounting options that include suspended pendant or stem mounts ranging from 6 to 30 inches.

Lighting control is a major strength of the Commalite, supporting dimming protocols that include 0-10V (down to 5%, 1%, or even 0% depending on driver specification), DALI, DMX, and Lutron EcoSystem options such as LDE1 drivers with Soft-On, Fade-to-Black technology. Tunable white solutions are also supported with Lutron T-Series drivers for compatibility with advanced control systems. The fixture integrates easily with platforms such as Lutron Vive, EldoLED, Enlighted, nLight, Osram, Philips, and others, making it adaptable to modern smart building ecosystems.
For safety and emergency preparedness, the Commalite supports both emergency battery and emergency circuit options. A single battery can power a four-foot section at 1492 lumens, ensuring effective emergency lighting coverage, while emergency circuit configurations allow multiple sections to remain operational during outages. In addition, several sensor options can be specified, including Lutron Vive wireless RF controls, daylight and occupancy sensors, Enlighted connected lighting smart sensors, and remote 0-10V sensors for occupancy and daylight harvesting.
The fixture also supports circadian lighting strategies through BIOS SkyBlue® technology. This advanced light engine delivers a distinct peak at 490nm, designed to promote circadian health by aligning the body’s natural rhythm with the day-night cycle. Unlike conventional LEDs, BIOS SkyBlue® provides strong circadian stimulus without relying on harsh CCTs or excessive light levels, enabling high Equivalent Melanopic Lux (EML) and favorable Melanopic/Photopic ratios. Available in both static and dynamic configurations, BIOS light engines can deliver continuous circadian support or allow the 490nm signal to dim out during nighttime hours for occupant comfort.
