The Oppi Post luminaire originated from a collaboration in 2015 with Kristianstad municipality, where it was initially designed as a city luminaire featuring the city’s coat of arms "C4" in brass. This detail emphasized civic pride and gave the fixture a unique identity. Although the current version no longer includes the coat of arms, it still retains an exclusive expression that suits public spaces beautifully. The light emitted from the Oppi Post is softly diffused through a microprismatic acrylic glass, ensuring even illumination across streets and squares while being visible through the clear glass dome.
Crafted with durability and design in mind, the Oppi Post features a lacquered aluminum frame paired with a shade made of impact-resistant acrylic. Its symmetrical circular light distribution is driven by a fully programmable outdoor LED driver, allowing for versatile control and adaptability to various lighting needs. Installation is straightforward with a post diameter of 76 mm, and an adapter is available for 60 mm posts as an accessory.
The luminaire is equipped with an LED light source at 3000K color temperature, boasting a CRI above 80 and a standard deviation of color matching (SDCM) of 3, with other color temperatures available upon request. Energy efficiency is classified as Class C for light sources with CRI and correlated color temperature 830/840. The LED driver is fully programmable, supporting functions like DALI and night setback to optimize energy use and performance. It has a long lifespan of up to 100,000 hours with a maximum 10% lumen depreciation, ensuring lasting reliability for urban lighting needs. The connection uses a 3G1.5 mm cable measuring 4 meters, designed for secure and efficient power supply.
