The FGP post top light features a graceful, flower-like organic design characterized by three stems that rise outward from its pole, culminating in a soft, triangular head. This head houses LED arrays arranged in triangular patterns, which cast illumination cleanly between the vertical elements, creating an elegant and well-defined light footprint. Ideal for pedestrian environments such as campuses, parks, and plazas, the FGP enhances public spaces by providing a beautiful and confidence-inspiring visual experience that supports usability around the clock.
Constructed with durability and performance in mind, the FGP area light employs advanced solid-state LED technology known for exceptional energy efficiency and long operational life. Its cast aluminum heatsink and housing effectively manage thermal properties to maximize LED performance and longevity. The fixture is finished with Landscape Forms’ proprietary Pangard II powdercoat, offering robust protection and aesthetic appeal. The integrated thermoformed diffuser lens is designed to reduce glare, enhancing visual comfort while delivering full-spectrum light engines with outstanding color rendering capabilities.
Equipped with a surge-protected, dimmable Class 2 driver compatible with 100V-277V at 50/60 Hz, the FGP features an LED cartridge with a weatherproof quick-disconnect system for easy installation and maintenance. The luminaire ships prewired to simplify setup in the field.
The FGP area light is available with two distribution options tailored to different lighting needs. The Type 3 distribution version delivers light through LEDiL® STRATA optics, utilizing a 50W driver with a drive current of 460mA, and offers color temperatures ranging from 2700K to 4000K. It features an impact-modified Acrylite® lens, a BUG rating of B1-U2-G1, and an IP66 rating for the LED cartridge. Alternatively, the Type 5 distribution version uses similar optics and lens materials but operates at 60W with a 560mA drive current. It also supports the same range of color temperatures and dimming capability, with a BUG rating of B2-U2-G1 and the same high IP66 protection, making both versions well-suited for outdoor pedestrian lighting applications.
