Allegro Dot XS is the smallest and newest addition to the intelligent Allegro Dot family, engineered for streamlined outdoor media applications. Designed for seamless integration, this compact luminaire can be embedded directly into architectural façades or suspended in midair using transparent mounting options, including the innovative Mesh Grid. Its reduced size allows for longer chains of illuminated dots, making it ideal for large-scale, high-resolution video and graphic displays across building exteriors.
Each Allegro Dot XS system is powered and controlled via the PXL Distributor Pro 8 (PDP8), which consolidates power and data distribution into a single unit. This integration significantly minimizes the space required for installation infrastructure. With e:net IN and OUT connectivity, a single PDP8 supports up to eight Allegro Dot XS outputs, allowing up to 640 individual pixels per system. Each string features a standard of 80 dots with a pixel pitch of 3.5 inches (90 mm), but customizable pixel pitches range from 2 inches (50 mm) to nearly 20 inches (500 mm), ensuring flexible resolution options.
Built to withstand harsh environments, Allegro Dot XS features an IP66 rating and is suitable for coastal installations. It also includes e:net control compatibility and supports auto-addressing through DynaMood® Technologies. This includes AddressOne for intelligent auto-addressing, ConnectOne for a streamlined e:net-based control architecture, and WhiteOne, which enhances white light rendering and brightness in typical RGB video content.
Allegro Dot XS is available in multiple color options to meet diverse creative and architectural needs. Choose from static White CCTs (2700K and 6500K), Dynamic White (2700K–6500K), or full-color RGB and RGB+W configurations, with white rendered at 6500K. No matter the color configuration, each system supports the same mounting flexibility and pixel capacity, delivering vivid, high-quality light output across any application.
