The Buzz Pendant is a luminaire series designed with remarkable flexibility for various corporate environments. Dating back to the 1960s, the development of luminaire series has been a key focus for ateljé Lyktan in introducing innovative products. Building on this tradition, designer Olle Anderson crafted the Buzz series with the goal of delivering excellent lighting combined with adaptable design features that suit multiple uses.
Buzz features a color lacquered aluminum shade with a white foil interior, complemented by matte white lacquered inner shades also made of aluminum. This thoughtful construction allows the luminaire to provide effective downward lighting, ideal for illuminating table and floor areas. The lampshade is held by a ring finished with a matte lacquered surface, creating a harmonious raking light effect that, when viewed from the side, offers a subtle contrast to the shade’s outer finish.
The body of the Buzz Pendant is made of metal coated in matte white lacquer, paired with the color lacquered aluminum shade lined with white foil inside. It is designed for easy installation using a hook suspension in the canopy. Electrical connection is facilitated through a snap-in terminal block (3x2.5 mm²) and includes a 2.5-meter white textile feed cable (2x0.75 mm²), which is halogen-free for safety.
Regarding energy classification, the Buzz Pendant models that include a light source comply with the EU regulation No 2019/2015, carrying an energy efficiency rating of class G. This combination of design, functionality, and regulatory compliance makes the Buzz Pendant a versatile lighting solution for modern corporate spaces.
