The Riff Puck Pendant, designed by Olle Lundberg, embodies flexibility and versatility, allowing it to adapt seamlessly to various environments. Central to the Riff luminaire is the light engine, crafted from die-cast metal to ensure excellent thermal management. This component integrates a high-quality LED module along with a protective LED cover, reflecting meticulous attention to detail and superior materials. The inclusion of diffusers ensures an even, elegant spread of light across any space.
To complete the Riff luminaire, one of three accessory shades can be chosen, two made of glass and one featuring a decorative mold with an additional diffusing plate. These options allow for customized design expressions tailored to specific settings. The light engine itself is available in three different sizes and comes painted in either black or white, providing further flexibility in styling.
The materials used emphasize durability and quality, with both the light engine and shades constructed from die-cast metal. Installation is straightforward, with the pendant suspended from a two-meter textile cable available in black or white. The electronic driver is mounted inside a supplied ceiling cup made from flexible silicone for easy setup. Electrical connection is made directly through a driver terminal block housed in the ceiling cup.
The Riff Puck Pendant includes an integrated LED light source available in 3000K or 4000K color temperatures, with 4000K options provided upon request. It offers excellent color rendering, with a minimum CRI of 80 and optional CRI 90 for enhanced lighting quality. The rated lifetime is L70 at 50,000 hours, and the product holds an energy efficiency classification of Class E under EU regulation 2019/2015.
Light control options vary by size: the small and medium Riff luminaires support dimming via phase dimming (both leading and trailing edge control) or DALI dimming (excluding push dim). The large Riff model allows dimming through Push dim and 1-10V controls, as well as DALI (also excluding push dim). The diffusing glare control is provided by an opal acrylic diffuser, creating soft, comfortable illumination. Additionally, the light engine and shade, also referred to as the app, form a complete luminaire but can be ordered separately as accessories for further customization.
