The Time Floor lamp features an advanced lighting system that, combined with its innovative deflection technology, meets European standards for office lighting. This LED-equipped luminaire complements the Time family, designed for use in venues and buildings demanding energy efficiency, long lifespan, and superior energy performance. While sharing design similarities with other Time series luminaires, the Time Floor has a newly developed profile made from extruded aluminum with cast aluminum end caps. It offers separate uplight and downlight functions, delivering a wide and even light field for downlight and a carefully engineered batwing-shaped light distribution for uplight.
Constructed with a housing and stand in extruded aluminum, end caps in cast metal, and a sturdy steel footplate, the Time Floor is mounted securely with its floor stand. It comes supplied with a 3-meter lead and an EU plug for easy connection. The luminaire is equipped with LED light sources available in 3000K or 4000K color temperatures, boasting a minimum CRI of 80, with CRI 90 available upon request. The LED lifespan is rated at L80B10 65,000 hours, ensuring durable and reliable performance. For models featuring both direct and indirect lighting, an optional Tunable White uplight is available, adjustable between 2700K and 6500K, adding versatile color temperature control.
The Time Floor’s direct light is delivered through microprismatic acrylic glass paired with an optical film for precise light control, while the indirect light uses a batwing foil to provide an extra-wide light distribution. The luminaire is offered either with downlight only or with a combination of direct and indirect light, with light distribution divided approximately 35% direct and 65% indirect. It incorporates a Philips LED driver with Touch and DALI technology, allowing flicker-free light regulation from 1 to 100 percent. Models with both uplight and downlight feature dual ballasts and two DALI addresses for independent control, whereas downlight-only versions have a single ballast and one DALI address.
User-friendly control is a key feature of the Time Floor. The dual-light model comes standard with two spring-return push buttons for independent on/off and dimming control of uplight and downlight, while the downlight-only model includes one push button. Optional presence and absence detection with adjustable sensing areas is available on request, along with wireless control options for the uplight. When wireless control is selected, the luminaire is supplied with one push button for direct light on/off and dimming, and for Tunable White models, wireless control manages the indirect light with a separate push button for direct light. The Time Floor lamp is also available in black or grey finishes at no additional cost, allowing for aesthetic customization.
