The STPI (Stop Bar Light) is a unidirectional LED fixture used to signal aircraft and vehicles to stop before entering runways. Positioned just prior to runway access points, it provides a reliable red signal to mitigate incursion risks. The IHPI (Intermediate Holding Position Light), on the other hand, is used to delineate holding positions that safeguard priority taxi routes. This fixture emits a unidirectional yellow light and operates at just 12 watts, supporting low power draw without compromising visibility.
Both STPI and IHPI lights are certified for international deployment, meeting the requirements of ICAO Annex 14 Volume 1 and Part 4, NATO STANAG 3316, FAA AC 150/5345-46, and Engineering Brief 67 current editions. These lights utilize Wavetrac™ technology, which significantly reduces power consumption—up to 60% compared to traditional incandescent models. The units are operational in temperatures ranging from -40°C to +85°C, making them suitable for deployment in extreme environments.
