The Star LED ST1 (LS375LED) is a compact, surface-mounted fountain light designed for high-performance applications. Its construction combines high-pressure die-cast copper alloy with a high-strength polymer, representing the next generation in compact fountain lighting technology. This luminaire offers higher power options and enhanced control capabilities, including Lumascape’s d5 driver technology for advanced dimming and high-resolution color-changing features.
Available in static white and color temperatures of 2,700K, 3,000K, and 4,000K—all with an 80 CRI—the Star LED ST1 delivers lumen outputs ranging from 750 to 838 lumens with efficacies between 69 and 77 lm/W. Its peak intensity ranges from 4,900 to 5,474 candela. The fixture offers beam angles of 20º, 25º, and 40º to provide flexible lighting effects. The LED power options include 6W or 9W models, with a nominal power consumption of 10.8W for the 9W version. It boasts a lifetime exceeding 60,000 hours (L70, B10), ensuring long-lasting performance.
Operating on low voltage, the Star LED ST1 accepts 24 Vdc internationally and 12-15 Vac or 12-24 Vdc in North America. It is designed for surface mounting and is rated for water temperatures between 41°F and 104°F (5°C to 40°C). The ambient operating temperature range applies to the 6W model only. With an IP68 rating for submersion up to 33 feet (10 meters), this luminaire is built specifically for submersible applications in fountains. It carries ETL and CE certifications, highlighting its safety and quality standards.
For installation flexibility, the Star LED ST1 supports different configurations depending on the number of luminaires and control setup. Up to 20 luminaires can be connected in a single run for stand-alone static color dimming solutions, dimmed together using integral LED drivers and LS6122 wall plate dimmers, powered through individual or shared power supplies. When used with dimmable channels, up to 6 luminaires can be individually addressed per channel, with a maximum of 3 dimmable channels supported. These luminaires can be powered through individual supplies or the LS67100 PWM controller (up to 100W total). Additionally, up to 18 luminaires can be addressed and controlled together with integral LED drivers, powered similarly via individual supplies or the LS67100 controller. In all cases, local electrical codes and maximum circuit load limitations must be observed.
Control protocols include PWM with availability of 0-10V to PWM and DMX to PWM converters, offering flexible integration into existing lighting control systems.
