This seamless integration allows for fast, precise installations and predictable lighting performance in ceiling-to-ceiling and ceiling-to-wall applications. The system’s SurroundLite™ technology removes the need to select beam angles and delivers a shadow-free, continuous illumination across gaps between luminaires. It is available in continuous lengths up to 12 feet in one-foot increments, with integral driver configurations for a plug-and-play solution.
Cove Perfekt also excels in ease of installation. Its modular, tool-free construction eliminates the need for tracks or clips, significantly reducing labor time. Standard telescoping cables allow up to 6 inches of play, enabling flexible mounting without gaps or alignment issues. Long runs can be powered from a single line voltage feed at the back wall of the cove, supporting up to 100 feet per run—or up to 500 feet with a two-circuit six-wire configuration. Cables are rated to connect and disconnect under power, and power feeds are available in straight or T formats for flexibility along the run.
Maintenance is just as simple. With a dirt-resistant design, no dust cover is required, and dirt or debris will not impact light distribution. The system’s components, including LED light engines, are field-replaceable and upgradable, accessed easily from above via standard quick connectors and a screwdriver. The system is also suited to custom configurations—standard lengths between 2 and 12 feet can be combined into system runs to accommodate any cove shape, determined by project-specific drafts submitted by designers.
Built with durability and sustainability in mind, Cove Perfekt uses extruded aluminum housings, die-cast aluminum end caps, and painted steel top covers. The luminaire supports a wide variety of drivers and control systems, including Lutron EcoSystem, DALI, DMX, Xitanium SR, Power over Ethernet (PoE), and BIOS technologies. Dimming options such as BIOS Bio-Dimming™, tunable white control, and Axitune™ systems are also available. Emergency circuits or battery backup options can be integrated as needed.
Cove Perfekt supports a wide color temperature range with exceptional color consistency within a 3-step MacAdam ellipse. Options include 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, and 4000K, with CRI ratings of 80 or 90. BIOS configurations include static, dynamic, and tunable white with R9 >75 for high-fidelity color rendering. LED light engines offer a minimum lifespan of 50,000 hours at 85% lumen maintenance in 25°C environments, in full compliance with IES LM-80 standards.
