Starburst is a striking collection of kinetic pendants that transform from compact, star-like forms into larger geometric configurations such as circles, triangles, or quads. This dynamic adaptability allows Starburst to complement a wide range of interior styles, whether organic, nature-inspired environments or futuristic, cosmic themes. Its overlapping and interlacing bracket design evokes natural contours, promoting a sense of well-being and positivity, while the angular components and diffusers add a bold, high-tech aesthetic. Each Starburst fixture is crafted with a die-cast aluminum body and trim and features a durable powder-coated finish. The acrylic diffuser ensures an even, luminous glow. It is suspended using a power-over-cable system, ensuring a clean, minimal appearance. The fixture mounts directly over a standard 4" electrical junction box, simplifying installation (North America only). Remote drivers are high power factor (HPF) electronic units, supporting 120–277V in North America and 240V in the EU. Drivers must remain accessible post-installation, and remote mounting is supported with varying wire sizes and distances, ranging up to 29.5' (9m).
An optional emergency lighting system is available, offering 1.5 hours of backup power in North America and 3 hours in the EU. This self-contained system includes an inverter module, NiCad batteries, LED charge indicator, and test switch (North America only), though it is not compatible with a 347V power supply. Seismic bracing kits are also available to meet building compliance requirements—factory consultation is recommended for both this and sensor compatibility.
Designed by Jacob Antoni, Starburst is damp rated and engineered for exceptional longevity. It boasts a reported L70 of over 102,000 hours and an estimated L70 exceeding 235,000 hours at 25°C (77°F). Delivered lumens and efficacy (LPW) are based on 4000K with a CRI of 90+, ensuring premium light quality and performance for modern architectural applications.
