Constructed from marine-grade, die-cast aluminium alloy and protected by a 5CE corrosion-resistant system with PCS polymer-coated stainless steel hardware, this luminaire is engineered for durability in even the harshest outdoor environments. It is rated IP66 for ingress protection and IK08 for impact resistance, ensuring reliable performance in both coastal and urban applications. A factory-sealed enclosure, featuring a safety glass lens and a silicone CCG® Controlled Compression Gasket, eliminates the need for on-site opening during installation, enhancing long-term reliability and minimizing maintenance.
This versatile fixture can be installed in either up or down light orientations, making it suitable for architectural façades, entryways, and pathway lighting. Inside, the luminaire incorporates a built-in EC electronic converter and benefits from advanced thermal management that not only protects the LEDs but also optimizes luminous output. CAD-optimized optics deliver high-quality illumination with excellent glare control. Optional configurations include a warm 2200 K color temperature version (up to a maximum of 1050mA), which must be specified at the time of ordering.
The PLS430 LED supports multiple light distribution patterns, including symmetric medium and narrow beams, asymmetric side and forward throws, and a rectangular side throw, providing flexible lighting design solutions for a range of architectural needs. Electrical specifications include a power supply of 220–240V at 50–60 Hz, with a power factor greater than 0.9 and built-in surge protection rated at 1/2 kV. An optional DALI-compatible driver is available and should be specified during the ordering process.
