The Wolflite® H-4DCALED is a high-performance, primary cell powered LED safety handlamp engineered for use in hazardous environments. ATEX, IECEx, and UKEX certified, this handlamp is approved for safe operation in Zones 1 and 2 for gas, and Zones 21 and 22 for dust, making it ideal for industries where potentially explosive atmospheres are present. It has also been awarded CE and UKCA markings, along with Lloyd’s Register Type Approval, further confirming its suitability for demanding industrial and marine applications. Designed to operate in ambient temperatures ranging from -10°C to +40°C, the H-4DCALED carries a T4 temperature class rating for gas and a maximum surface temperature of 135°C for dust, ensuring safety across a range of operating conditions.

Alongside its brighter output, battery efficiency has also doubled, extending operational duration from 20 hours to a remarkable 45 hours when used with approved alkaline cells. Constructed from a newly developed, exceptionally robust thermoplastic material, the H-4DCALED is designed for maximum durability and resistance to the harsh conditions of industrial environments. The enclosure’s anti-static properties help prevent the accumulation of potentially dangerous electrostatic charges, an important safety feature when working in explosive atmospheres. A 6mm thick, toughened glass lens—treated for scratch resistance—provides excellent optical clarity and is further protected by a rubber seal. Additional sealing at the lens ring and lamp body joint enhances resistance to dust and water ingress, giving the unit an IP66 rating and ensuring long-lasting reliability in wet, dusty, or otherwise challenging environments.
The lamp is supplied complete with a detachable shoulder strap for convenient carrying and hands-free transport when needed.
