Constructed from a combination of steel and aluminum, KURL features a durable powder-coated finish that enhances its sleek, modern appearance. The luminaire delivers light through opal polycarbonate diffusers for direct output, and is also available with either clear or opal diffusers for indirect illumination, ensuring balanced and glare-free lighting throughout a space. The fixture is powered by integral high power factor electronic drivers that support 120-277V and 347V input (EU-240V), with the driver housed directly within the fixture for clean integration.
KURL is also available with an integral emergency lighting option, providing up to 1.5 hours of illumination during power interruptions (3 hours in EU configurations). The self-contained emergency system includes an inverter module, NiCad batteries, a built-in LED charge indicator, and a test switch (North America only). Please note, this option is not compatible with 347V input.
For networked lighting environments, KURL supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) connectivity, enabling integration with smart building systems. The fixture mounts directly over a junction box (by others, North America only) and is compatible with a range of sensors—consult the factory for specific compatibility requirements.
Engineered for long-term performance, KURL boasts a rated lifespan exceeding 50,000 hours (L70 at 25°C) and maintains high lumen efficacy based on 4000K output with a minimum 80 CRI.
