The Faisca F3 is a compact, intelligent marker light engineered for high-end architectural applications where exceptional photometric performance, long-term reliability, and easy serviceability are essential. With a sleek and elegant design, it integrates effortlessly into modern lighting schemes while offering robust functionality. Its plug-and-play electrical connections simplify installation and minimize errors, while leader cables extending up to 492 feet (150 meters) allow power supplies and control equipment to be placed at a distance, maximizing flexibility in large-scale or complex setups.
At the heart of the Faisca F3’s performance are high-quality Luxeon® LEDs, delivering brilliant, saturated colors with impressive output. Each of the 16 LEDs within a node can be controlled independently, enabling dazzling pixel-level effects such as dynamic twinkling, smooth crossfades, and flowing color transitions. Whether used to subtly accentuate architectural forms or power immersive media displays, the Faisca F3 opens a world of creative possibilities.
Control is handled via Lumascape’s PowerSync™ interface and supports industry-standard protocols such as DMX/RDM, ArtNet, and sACN. It offers flicker-free dimming down to 0.05% at a 20 kHz PWM frequency. Fixtures ship with a default RDM personality designed for smooth dimming, which can be reconfigured via DMX/RDM to match unique project requirements or unlock additional features.
Physically, the fixture is built to endure harsh environments. The marine-grade die-cast aluminum housing is matched with either a transparent flat lens made of OptiClear™ glass or a diffused dome lens with UV-stabilized polycarbonate, further protected by UVShield™ technology. A superior 9-step powder-coating process, including a marine-grade epoxy undercoat, ensures durability. The luminaire head is also adjustable, maintaining constant torque for precise aiming.
The Faisca F3 is surface-mounted, lightweight at just 0.55 pounds (0.25 kg) per node, and rated for ambient temperatures from -40°F to 122°F (-40°C to 50°C). It maintains a surface temperature of ≤138°F (59°C) and offers an IP66/IP67 rating, even passing IP68 testing, along with vibration resistance up to 3G and an IK rating of IK7 for flat lenses and IK9 for dome lenses. Certified for use in dry, damp, and wet locations, the Faisca F3 meets UL, CE, RCM, and FCC standards, making it a powerful and versatile choice for demanding architectural lighting applications.
