Fabrik Pendant is a timeless luminaire that blends industrial heritage with modern functionality. Originally developed as part of a studio project for the transformation of an old fabric factory in Malmö, Fabrik pays homage to the classic industrial lamps that once illuminated the workspace in its early 20th-century heyday. Designed to offer both character and practicality, Fabrik emerged from this context as a modern lighting solution well-suited to today’s creative and collaborative environments.
The pendant’s design reflects the rugged elegance of industrial-style lighting, inspired by the utilitarian aesthetic of factories, warehouses, and workshops. With its clean lines and sturdy build, Fabrik brings that same sense of authenticity into contemporary interiors. Its symmetrical direct light distribution is carefully de-glared, making it particularly suitable for offices and other task-oriented spaces.
Crafted with a shade in spun, powder-coated aluminum, Fabrik combines durability with visual refinement. The light-diffusing element consists of microprismatic acrylic glass paired with a high-quality optical film from BrightView, ensuring comfortable, glare-free illumination. Inside, the luminaire features an LED module from Tridonic with excellent performance characteristics: available in either 3000K or 4000K color temperatures, CRI 90, and a chromaticity tolerance within 3 SDCM. The LED is rated L90B10 at 72,000 hours, ensuring long-term reliability.
Fabrik also includes an advanced LED driver with both Touch and DALI control options, allowing flicker-free dimming from 1% to 100% through amplitude modulation. Each fixture comes with a single ballast and DALI address. Installation is straightforward, with the pendant suspended by cable and coordinated cable color—black with the black luminaire and white with the white version. A ceiling cup with a 5x2.5 mm² terminal block and 3-meter cable is included.
The standard finishes are white (RAL9016 structure) and black (RAL9005 structure), each offering a clean and versatile aesthetic. Weighing just 2.5 kg, Fabrik combines lightweight construction with enduring style and technical excellence. It contains a light source with an energy efficiency class D according to regulation (EU) No 2019/2015.
