MiraUSB transforms any device equipped with a Unix operating system and a USB port into an industrial-grade wireless mesh gateway, enabling seamless MiraMesh connectivity. This compact yet powerful interface allows standard IPv6 UDP messages to be received directly by the host operating system from MiraMesh — one of the most robust and power-efficient mesh networking technologies available. Built on LumenRadio’s MWA_N3 module, MiraUSB delivers exceptional communication range within the 2.4 GHz ISM band, achieving up to 20 dBm output power. Both internal and external antenna configurations are available, ensuring maximum flexibility and performance across industrial and commercial environments.

The device enables rapid testing and deployment across various platforms, whether developing on a laptop, testing on a Raspberry Pi, or implementing within a full-scale industrial gateway. MiraMesh incorporates patented Cognitive Coexistence technology, utilizing agile and adaptive frequency-hopping algorithms to avoid interference and achieve packet delivery rates exceeding 99% even in congested industrial environments. Its ultra-low-power operation allows routing nodes to function at current levels as low as 20 µA, making it one of the most efficient mesh networks on the market. The system’s large-scale mesh capabilities extend coverage over vast and complex areas, reducing the need for multiple gateways and enhancing cost-effectiveness in IoT deployments.
