The Erden E8 is a high-powered in-ground luminaire that merges cutting-edge technology with modern design. Engineered for performance and durability, it features Lumascape’s proprietary EasyGlow™ visual comfort and CoolDrive™ thermal management technologies to ensure both visual appeal and reliable operation under demanding conditions. The Erden E8 also incorporates PowerSync™, enabling precise digital control via common industry protocols such as DMX/RDM, Artnet, PWM, and 0–10 V (sink or source), with RDM functionality providing adaptable dimming behaviors and special features. The fixture supports flicker-free dimming down to 0.1% thanks to a 2 kHz PWM frequency.
Designed to offer versatility in lighting applications, the Erden E8 is available in static white, dynamic color-changing, and tunable white options. Static white options range from 2,700 K to 5,000 K, delivering lumen outputs from 3,360 to 3,880 and efficacies up to 93 lm/W. Peak intensities vary by color temperature, reaching as high as 176,300 cd at 3,500 K. Dynamic color versions include RGBA and RGBW (4,000 K with Royal Blue), with lumen outputs of 1,760 and 1,970 respectively. The tunable white variant spans 2,700 K to 6,500 K, producing 3,580 lumens and achieving 88 lm/W efficacy with a peak intensity of 148,400 cd.
The fixture offers a wide range of beam angles including symmetrical options from 6º to 60º and various elliptical distributions such as 10º x 40º and 20º x 60º. With 30 W of LED power and total power consumption of ≤ 40 W, the Erden E8 delivers over 60,000 hours of life (B10, L70, TM21). It operates on international voltages of 220–240 Vac at 50 Hz and 120/277 Vac at 60 Hz, with earth leakage currents ranging from 0.3 mA to 0.6 mA depending on the voltage.
Built to withstand harsh environments, the Erden E8 features a marine-grade 316 stainless steel housing with either a polished or brushed finish, high-strength glass, and Teflon-coated cover screws. A rigorous 9-step powder-coating process includes a marine-grade epoxy undercoat and polyester topcoat for long-lasting surface protection. Installation flexibility includes a pre-installation blockout for concrete pours, direct burial for landscapes, and a mounting collar for decks and grates. The luminaire supports adjustable tilt from -5º to +20° and full 360° rotation.
The Erden E8 is rated for operation in ambient temperatures from -4ºF to 122ºF (-20°C to 50°C), with a surface temperature not exceeding 149ºF (65°C). Weighing 15.0 lbs (6.8 kg), the fixture is drive-over rated when installed with the OptiClear lens and pre-installation kit. It holds IP68 and IK10 ratings, with a static load capacity of 9,259 lbs (4,200 kg), making it suitable for dry, damp, and wet locations, and for use in poured concrete. Certified to ETL, CE, UKCA, RCM, and CCC standards, the Erden E8 is an inherently protected, high-performance solution for architectural and landscape lighting applications.
