The round luminaire heads fitted with oval flood Spherolit lenses offer full 360° rotation, allowing the light to be precisely aligned with the orientation of the object, regardless of layout or display angle.
At the core of Stella’s performance is the ERCO LED module, which uses high-power LEDs available in warm white (2700K or 3000K) and neutral white (3500K or 4000K). These are combined with a collimating lens made from optical-grade polymer to deliver clean, consistent beams with outstanding efficiency. The luminaire’s robust housing and head are constructed from powder-coated cast aluminium, available in finishes of white (RAL9002), black, or silver. The housing itself is rotatable through 360° on the track adapter, allowing full flexibility in aiming and orientation. Stella supports a range of control gear options including phase dimmable with on-board dim, DALI dimmable, and Casambi Bluetooth. The phase dimmable version also features a manual rotary control on the luminaire for local dimming, and compatibility with trailing-edge external dimmers. The system is compatible with both ERCO’s 3-circuit and DALI track adapters, ensuring smooth incorporation into professional lighting infrastructures.
In practical use, Stella excels when mounted at substantial heights. A tilt angle of approximately 30° is optimal for both accentuating objects and for floodlighting large displays or architectural zones, providing a strong modeling effect without unwanted shadows. For uniform vertical illumination in wallwashing applications, the recommended distance between the luminaire and the wall is about one third of the room height. This setup yields a tilt angle of around 35°, achieving smooth and consistent light coverage across vertical surfaces.
