BEGA high-performance floodlights are designed to deliver exceptional efficiency and durability, particularly in environments with high ambient temperatures. Offering a luminous flux exceeding 42,000 lumens, these luminaires set new benchmarks for both performance and energy efficiency. They represent the continuation of BEGA’s legacy of producing robust and reliable floodlighting solutions, incorporating all the core quality features expected of the brand.

These floodlights are engineered for longevity, with LED modules, power supply units, and optical systems that exhibit minimal wear and exceptional thermal stability. BEGA uses a combination of glass, optical silicone, and aluminium to optimize light distribution and ensure long-term efficiency. Unlike polymer lenses, which are prone to degradation and instability over time, these materials are resistant to ageing, enabling sustained performance even under demanding conditions. The precise reflectors deliver a range of light distributions—including very narrow beam, narrow beam, wide beam, and flat beam—making the luminaires suitable for a broad spectrum of architectural and industrial applications.

To enhance visual comfort and further control light distribution, the floodlights can be equipped with internal ring louvres or external shielding. A wide selection of installation accessories is available to support flexible and secure mounting across different surfaces and environments. The mounting bracket features a central Ø 22 mm hole and two Ø 9 mm holes spaced 80 mm apart, allowing for versatile attachment configurations.

Constructed from cast aluminium, aluminium, and stainless steel, and protected by BEGA’s Unidure® powder coating, these luminaires are built to withstand extreme outdoor conditions. The protection class IP67 ensures complete resistance to dust ingress and strong protection against water penetration. Safety glass and a reflector surface made from pure aluminium contribute to the fixture’s mechanical resilience and optical precision.

The integration of BEGA Hybrid Optics® enables the creation of highly focused light beams, whether very narrow or flat, depending on the application. The optical system is complemented by BEGA Thermal Management® and BEGA Thermal Control® technologies, which maintain optimal operating conditions by adjusting output in response to high ambient temperatures (maximum rated ambient temperatures are 40°C, 45°C, or 50°C, depending on the configuration).

At the heart of these high-performance luminaires is the BEGA Ultimate Driver®, a power supply unit developed to the highest quality standards. It offers optimal thermal regulation, robust overvoltage protection, reduced flickering through Constant Current Reduction (CCR) dimming, low inrush current (less than five amps), and exceptional mechanical resilience. These features collectively ensure outstanding reliability, longer maintenance intervals, and support for a greater number of luminaires per automatic circuit breaker.

The RGBW versions of these floodlights are fully compatible with DALI color light control systems (DT8, RGBWAF, xy), enabling precise color tuning and dynamic lighting scenarios. Output levels are also manually adjustable in four stages, offering additional flexibility in lighting design.
