The ETC300-GB is a flush version inground light featuring a gimbal mount, designed with a reduced depth for versatile installation. It boasts a robust stainless steel construction, including polymer-coated stainless steel hardware for enhanced durability. The luminaire is sealed with a silicone rubber gasket and protected by a safety glass lens capable of withstanding loads up to 5 tonnes, allowing it to be driven over at low speeds. It carries an impact protection rating of IK10+ and an ingress protection rating of IP67*, with additional testing confirming resistance up to IP69K and submersion up to 1 meter under specific conditions.
This model includes an integral electronically controlled (EC) converter housed in a thermally separated compartment to ensure efficient thermal management. The luminaire features a factory-installed LED circuit board based on the OLC® One LED Concept. Its gear and lens tray are removable without tools, facilitating maintenance and adjustments. The gimbal mount allows 360° rotation and 30° tilt, providing flexible aiming of the light beam. Several light distribution options are available, including symmetric medium, wide, very narrow beams with sharp cut-offs, linear spreads, and wallwash configurations. Color temperatures offered include 2700 K, 3000 K, and 4000 K, with an optional 2200 K version available upon ordering.
For installation, an optional blockout is recommended to ensure secure mounting and must be ordered separately. The luminaire is not suitable for permanent underwater operation and must be switched off in case of flooding. An anti-slip ceramic coating option (ASC) conforming to DIN 51130 Trip Classification 10 is also available upon request, enhancing safety in wet or slippery environments.
The electrical specifications include a power supply of 220-240V at 50-60 Hz with a power factor exceeding 0.9 and surge protection rated at 1/2 kV. At a reference temperature of 25°C, the LED maintains a lifetime of over 90,000 hours (L90B10). The energy efficiency class ranges from C to D depending on the light source used.
