The CER hazardous location sealed industrial LED high bay light is a rugged, specification-grade luminaire engineered for extreme environments, including high ambient temperature and wet locations. It features a durable housing constructed from glass-filled polyester, offering superior corrosion resistance and rigidity for demanding industrial settings. The fixture’s stainless steel latches and form-in-place polyurethane gaskets create a dependable, repeatable seal that can withstand frequent 1500 psi spray-downs. Designed for ease of installation, its external mounting methods maintain the integrity of the housing seal while simplifying setup in challenging applications.

This LED high bay is purpose-built for environments such as manufacturing facilities, refineries, gas storage plants, chemical processing areas, textile factories, and wastewater treatment facilities. Available in 24-inch and 48-inch sizes, it is suitable for specification-grade cleanroom, recessed, and troffer installations. The fixture meets rigorous standards including CSA, UL, IP65, and ISO Class 3–8 compliance, with NSF certification available for food and non-food zone applications. It is UL Listed for hazardous locations—Class I Zone 2 (Groups IIC, IIB + H2, IIA), Zone 22 (Groups IIB, IIA), and Class I Division 2 (Groups A, B, C, D, T-Code T4A), as well as Class II Division 2 (Groups F, G, T-Code T5) and Class III environments. Additionally, it carries wet location approval per ANSI/UL1598 and UL8750 and is IEC60529 IP67 certified for protection against dust, powerful water jets, and limited immersion.

The housing is precision injection molded from UV-stabilized, glass-reinforced polyester with a UL94-5VA flame rating. Its smooth, tapered exterior design meets NSF2 standards for cleanability by effectively shedding water and debris. The fixture is equipped with a pre-painted steel gear tray, ensuring long-term corrosion protection. Lens options include clear or textured acrylic or polycarbonate, both molded from optically clear virgin materials rated UL F1 for outdoor durability. Each diffuser is designed with a flange that fits securely into the gasket retention slot, maintaining a tight, reliable seal. The continuous formed-in-place, closed-cell polyurethane gasket system is highly resilient and chemical-resistant, ensuring dependable performance even in harsh washdown environments.

The LED system delivers consistent color and lumen performance with high efficiency and excellent color rendering. Users can select from color temperatures of 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, or 5000K, with color uniformity within 3 SDCM and standard 80 CRI, or an optional 90 CRI for enhanced visual quality. The fixture boasts an impressive lifetime rating of L90 at over 60,000 hours, with field-replaceable LED modules that are commercially available for long-term serviceability. Optional amber and red LED arrays are available independently or combined with white LEDs for specialized applications.

Electrical performance is managed by a constant-current electronic driver that is programmable and dimmable down to 1% using a 0–10V protocol. The driver maintains high efficiency above 85% and total harmonic distortion below 10%, meeting FCC Part 15, Class A standards. It supports a universal input voltage range of 120–277V or 347V at 50/60 Hz. Emergency driver options are also available, serviceable from the room side unless otherwise noted, providing continued operation during power interruptions.

Installation flexibility is ensured with standard stainless steel V-hooks and hook hangers, while additional cable hangers and ceiling mount brackets are available as options. Each fixture includes 7/8-inch nominal diameter holes at both ends, sealed with EPDM rubber caps for easy electrical connection and through-wiring capability.
