The fixture offers direct and indirect light emission and can be coordinated with MICRO QUAD DE, which emits light from both the inner and outer sides of the frame. For enhanced sound comfort, MICRO QUAD II is available with an acoustic panel designed to absorb echo and reverberation, making it particularly suitable for open-concept spaces, exposed concrete, open ceilings, and rooms with large windows. For a more playful or dynamic style, MICRO QUAD can be combined with other shapes such as MICRO RING or MICRO TRIANGLE.
Constructed from aluminum with a durable powder-coated finish, MICRO QUAD II is suspended by stainless steel cables, complemented by a silver braided power cable for added strength and aesthetic appeal. The fixture’s drivers are high power factor (HPF) electronic drivers compatible with 120-277V (EU-240V) power supplies. Depending on the fixture size, drivers can be either remote mounted or integrated into the canopy, with remote mounting wire size options accommodating distances up to 90 feet. This luminaire also supports integration into data networks via Power over Ethernet (PoE) connectivity.
Mechanically, MICRO QUAD II mounts directly over a junction box (by others, North America only), ensuring straightforward installation. The diffuser is crafted from frosted acrylic with a lens protrusion of 4.8 mm (0.19 inches), providing soft, even light diffusion. Delivered lumens and lumens per watt are based on 4000K color temperature with a minimum CRI of 80 for white LEDs, though 90 CRI is available upon request. The product is rated for damp locations and features a long reported lifetime of over 60,000 hours at 25°C (77°F) L70. Seismic bracing kits are also available to ensure compliance with regional building codes and safety requirements.
