Its non-magnetic construction ensures safe integration into MRI environments, where traditional ferrous materials could interfere with magnetic field operations. The luminaire is designed with a separate remote gear box and non-ferrous downlight head, both tailored to meet the stringent safety and performance requirements of MRI spaces.
This fixture offers high efficacy, delivering 1,600 lumens at an impressive 133.3 lumens per circuit watt, and features a color temperature of 4000 K with a CRI of 80+, ensuring clear and comfortable illumination for medical imaging procedures. It also includes a non-maintained emergency version that delivers 800 lumens and provides up to three hours of emergency operation, powered by a Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) battery.
The G3 MRI is equipped with DALI dimmable control gear as standard, allowing for precise lighting adjustments. It can also be operated via a push-to-make retractive switch for both dimming and switching functions. Each DALI gearbox supports two output circuits, with each capable of powering between five and eight downlight heads. Wiring is optimized for low electromagnetic interference (EMI), especially when used with appropriate EMI filters (supplied separately). For added convenience and safety, the emergency status indicator LED can be remotely installed outside the MRI room.
