Lucy by ERCO is a task lighting solution that brings professional-grade LED illumination to any workspace, from libraries and offices to home environments. The luminaire head of Lucy can be rotated through 180°, allowing users to precisely direct light to the required area of the desktop. This adjustability makes it ideal for single-user workstations, particularly when optimal positioning is needed—on the left side for right-handed users and on the right for left-handed users. For desktop-mounted configurations, the recommended position is approximately 40–50 cm from the desk edge and 50 cm from the center of the beam spread. With just one placement, the luminaire’s head can effectively cover the entire visual task area, ensuring an even, high-quality distribution of light.
At the heart of Lucy is ERCO’s recessed optical system, which delivers glare-free illumination even when viewed from shallow angles. The reflector, made from vaporised aluminium and housed within a black anti-glare element, is paired with a Softec lens to provide exceptional visual comfort. Available in warm white (2700K or 3000K) and neutral white (3500K or 4000K) color temperatures, the high-power LED module ensures both energy efficiency and excellent color rendering.
The luminaire is available in three finishes—white (RAL9002), black, and silver—with a powder-coated aluminum profile for durability and a clean, refined appearance. A push-button control with an integrated dimmer allows users to adjust brightness down to 1%, providing full control over lighting levels. The control gear is fully dimmable, supporting both ambient and task lighting needs in diverse work settings.
Lucy’s base is crafted from powder-coated cast aluminum with a non-slip polymer layer in anthracite for added stability on any surface. For permanent installations, a brass installation sleeve accommodates tabletop thicknesses from 10 to 40 mm, allowing for secure screw fastening. Whether freestanding or integrated into the furniture, Lucy adapts seamlessly to its environment while delivering the high-performance lighting expected from ERCO.
