The HA-OL LED Obstruction Light system is a high-performance solution engineered to ensure safe and reliable marking of fixed structures up to 45 meters (150 feet) in height, particularly during nighttime operations. This dual-light configuration, featuring two HA-OL fixtures mounted on a bullhorn, offers redundancy through an integrated automatic relay system: if the primary light fails, the secondary light activates instantly to maintain uninterrupted illumination. Installation is straightforward, thanks to the 3/4″ female threading at the bottom, which allows for secure mounting to various structures or connection through an optional junction box.
The light optics are optimized using a borosilicate glass Fresnel lens in red, offering consistent and uniform light distribution. Integrated LED technology includes both visible red and infrared (IR) LEDs, providing not only high visibility to aircraft pilots but also compatibility with night vision goggles (NVG). The HA-OL system complies with multiple international aviation standards, including FAA AC 150/5345-43J, ICAO Annex 14 Volumes I and II (covering both aerodromes and heliports), EASA ADR, UK CAP 168, and UK CAP 437. It supports both ICAO Class A and Class B intensity levels, exceeding 10 candela and 32.5 candela respectively, to meet global regulatory requirements for low-intensity obstruction lighting.
