The MIOLA-E1_23U is a medium intensity white obstruction light designed to meet ICAO Type A specifications, specifically engineered for the day and night marking of structures that pose a hazard to aviation, such as flare stacks, chimneys, cranes, storage tanks, and offshore platforms. This obstruction light operates with a double beacon system (main and stand-by), ensuring reliable performance in critical safety applications. It features a white flashing light output with an intensity of 20,000 candela during the day and 2,000 candela at night, delivering a fixed flash rate of 20 flashes per minute, factory preset for optimal visibility.

Constructed with a copper-free die-cast aluminum alloy body and a durable glass transparent cap, the MIOLA-E1_23U offers exceptional resistance to corrosion and environmental wear. Its LED light source provides highly efficient illumination with low power consumption, drawing 55 watts per beacon during the day and only 9 watts per beacon at night under the specified flashing rate. Peak power consumption reaches 320 watts per beacon during daytime operation and 55 watts at night. The unit operates within a wide temperature range from -20°C to +55°C, maintaining performance even in harsh environmental conditions.

Designed and manufactured in Italy, this medium intensity obstruction light ensures easy installation through plug-and-play connections and incorporates an extremely low wind profile for enhanced durability and stability when mounted in exposed locations. The device provides 360° horizontal coverage, guaranteeing visibility from all directions, and requires no maintenance over its long service life, which can extend up to 100,000 hours.

The MIOLA-E1_23U can be used as a standalone unit or integrated into a multiple light system controlled via an advanced control board. It supports integrated GPS-based flash synchronization for coordinated operation between multiple lights, which is critical for large installations. Additionally, the light supports remote monitoring and management through the Telemetry© system, facilitating efficient oversight and operational control. Maintenance is simplified with the Retractable© system, which enables easier access and servicing without compromising safety or downtime.
