Nemalux's NL series is a high-output linear LED light fixture engineered for deployment in some of the world’s most demanding environments. Designed as a direct replacement for traditional linear fluorescent and vapor-tight fixtures, the NL delivers powerful, efficient lighting performance in marine, industrial, and hazardous location applications. The NL’s robust construction features a copper-free extruded aluminum housing finished with a corrosion-resistant type II anodizing and high-pressure die-cast, powder-coated end caps. The lens is made of high-impact polycarbonate, offering superior durability and excellent light transmission. Designed with IP66 ingress protection, the fixture is resistant to water and dust ingress and includes a pressure equalization vent to maintain performance integrity in harsh environments. The rugged housing and vibration-resistant design ensure longevity, even in demanding high-impact or high-vibration installations.
Performance is equally impressive. Light output ranges from 3,970 to 14,313 lumens, depending on model and configuration, with high-efficiency programmable power supplies that allow for tailored output. For applications requiring uninterrupted operation, selected models support emergency battery backup systems. The NL’s broad beam angle ensures even area illumination, making it an ideal solution for replacing outdated linear fluorescent fixtures while providing energy savings and maintenance advantages.
Certified for general, marine, and hazardous location use, the NL meets rigorous safety standards including UL 844, UL 1598/1598A/8750, and CSA C22.2 No. 250.0/137/250.13. It carries Class I, Division 2, Groups ABCD; Class II, Division 2, Groups FG; Class III; and Class I, Zone 2 and Zone 22 ratings, making it safe for deployment in areas where explosive gases, dust, or vapors may be present.
Installation and service are simplified with a built-in junction area that includes two ¾” NPT entries for straightforward wiring and through-wiring across multiple fixtures. The fixture also supports field-serviceable components, including light engines, power supplies, and housing elements. Maintenance and upgrades are made easy with a solder-free design that permits end-of-life driver and LED module replacements without requiring full fixture replacement.
Available in standard input voltages of 120–277 VAC or 347–480 VAC, the NL accommodates a wide range of global power systems. It performs reliably across a wide ambient temperature range from -40°C to +55°C, ensuring dependable operation in both frigid and high-heat environments. Adjustable mounting brackets allow for 360° rotation, enhancing aiming flexibility and supporting a variety of installation geometries.
