Designed with industrial resilience and performance in mind, the LMXE FFA Emergency model retains all the features and benefits of the standard LMX linear range. It integrates a NiMH battery system that provides selectable emergency runtime options to suit application needs. Installers on-site can configure the luminaire to run for 1 hour at 100% output, 2 hours at 50%, or 4 hours at 25% output for LMX2E models. For higher-output LMX4E models, options include 1 hour at 50%, 2 hours at 25%, or 4 hours at 12.5% output. The LMX4E FFA Emergency version features a dual-module configuration, consisting of one emergency module and one standard operating module to ensure both routine and emergency functionality.
The luminaire is equipped with an Intelligent Emergency circuit, which continuously monitors system and battery health through automated self-testing. These tests include functional checks and full battery duration tests to maintain reliability and compliance. During testing or actual emergency mode, the luminaire maintains LED output at full power to prevent operational disruption in critical work environments.
A three-color LED status indicator provides immediate visual feedback on the condition of the system. A green light confirms proper functionality, amber indicates the unit is performing a self-test, and red alerts to a system fault or insufficient battery charge.
The LMXE FFA delivers a wide 115° beam angle and operates at a color temperature of 5000K for clear, bright visibility. It carries an ingress protection rating of IP66 or IP67 (depending on the gland configuration), ensuring robust protection against dust and water ingress. Certified for a gas temperature class of T4 and a dust surface temperature rating of T90°C, the unit performs reliably in harsh temperature environments, with an operational range from -40°C up to +60°C.
