SENTINEL is finished with a metallic, exterior-grade powder coat paint, ensuring durability against environmental exposure and UV degradation. Its internal components are equally resilient, with a one-piece silicone gasket providing a weather-tight seal and an aluminum reflector finished in white powder coating to optimize light output. The luminaire operates on a high power factor (HPF) electronic driver, compatible with input voltages of 120–277V and 347V in North America (240V in the EU). Dimming capabilities are available for the direct light component, while the optional up/down lights are non-dimmable. Built to perform even in challenging environments, SENTINEL functions reliably at temperatures as low as -20°C, making it suitable for a wide range of climates. For emergency lighting scenarios, an optional remote emergency system is available, delivering 1.5 hours of battery backup (or 3 hours in EU models). This system includes an inverter module, NiCad batteries, and a remote LED charge indicator with test switch, capable of being mounted up to 15 feet (4.5 meters) from the luminaire. The test switch fits a standard single-gang electrical box (not included).
Performance metrics are based on a minimum 80 CRI and 3000K color temperature, with delivered lumens optimized for clarity, coverage, and visual comfort.
