Engineered for durability and visual precision, it features a marine-grade, die-cast aluminium alloy body with superior 5CE corrosion protection and robust PCS polymer-coated stainless steel hardware. The fixture carries an IP66 rating for ingress protection and an IK07 impact resistance rating, ensuring reliable operation in harsh outdoor environments.
A silicone rubber gasket ensures a weather-sealed design, while the safety glass lens protects the LED system and optimizes light transmission. CAD-optimized optics are integrated to provide outstanding illumination quality and glare control, making the SLS420 suitable for both accent and general lighting tasks on building facades and public structures. The luminaire features the OLC® (One LED Concept), with a factory-installed LED circuit board to simplify installation and ensure consistent performance.
The standard configuration includes an integral EC electronic converter, with optional 1–10V or DALI interface versions available upon request. Power is supplied via 220–240V at 50–60 Hz, and optional surge protection up to 6 kV (SP10) can be specified at the time of ordering. The luminaire supports a wide range of light distribution types, including symmetric medium and narrow beams, asymmetric forward throw, and various up-and-down beam combinations such as E/A60, E/M, M/M, and E/E.
Available in a choice of five durable powder-coated finishes—Signal Black (RAL9004), White Aluminium (RAL9006), Grey Aluminium (RAL9007), Anthracite Grey (RAL7016), and Traffic White (RAL9016)—the SLS420 LED blends seamlessly with modern architectural styles. It supports multiple color temperatures of 2700 K, 3000 K, and 4000 K, with an optional ultra-warm 2200 K version available up to a maximum drive current of 1050 mA. This flexibility allows lighting designers to fine-tune ambiance, aesthetics, and visual comfort in demanding exterior environments.
