The Riff Bowl Pendant is a flexible and expressive lighting solution designed by Olle Lundberg to adapt seamlessly across a range of environments. Central to its concept is the Riff light engine, a precision-crafted component made of die-cast metal for optimal thermal management. This engine houses an integrated LED module and protector, showcasing meticulous attention to detail and premium material quality. To ensure a smooth and uniform distribution of light, each unit comes equipped with a diffuser.
The complete Riff Bowl Pendant is formed by pairing the light engine with one of three available accessories. Two of these are glass options, while the third is a decorative molded component featuring an additional diffusing plate. The version known as the Bowl pendant utilizes a shade made from blown opal glass, contributing to a refined, evenly diffused illumination. The engine and shade are finished in either black or white, offering versatile design possibilities. Additional shade materials may be available upon request to suit specific interior design needs.
Installation is straightforward with a 2-meter textile suspension cable—available in black or white—leading to a ceiling-mounted electronic driver housed in a flexible silicone CableCup. The luminaire connects directly to the driver’s terminal block inside the ceiling cup, ensuring a clean and professional finish.
The Riff Bowl Pendant includes a high-efficiency LED light source available in 3000K or 4000K color temperatures, with a CRI of at least 80, and optional upgrade to CRI 90 upon request. The LEDs are rated for 50,000 hours at L70, ensuring long-term performance and reliability. In compliance with EU regulation No 2019/2015, this product carries an energy efficiency classification of class E.
Light regulation varies by size: the small and medium versions are dimmable via phase dimming (both leading and trailing edge control) or DALI, while the large version supports dimming via Push Dim and 1–10V or via DALI (note: Push Dim not available on DALI units). With its clean lines, premium materials, and adaptable features, the Riff Bowl Pendant stands out as a modern lighting solution for both residential and commercial interiors.
