The PD LED Wall Light features an organic design similar to the UN model but offers a higher level of illumination. Its innovative LevelX system ensures the faceplates remain perfectly level after installation, providing a clean and professional finish. The PD can be installed alone or paired with the UN fixture to maintain a consistent lighting style throughout a project. Constructed from die-cast brass, the fixture incorporates integrated Cree LEDs that deliver reliable, long-lasting performance. It is available with natural, powder-coated, or antiqued brass finishes and offers various color temperature options to suit different design needs. The PD supports both phase and PWM dimming and operates on an input voltage of 10 to 15 volts.
The PD fixture is powered by two LEDs with a halogen lumen equivalent of 10 watts, producing a maximum output of 26 lumens with an efficacy of 7 lumens per watt. It boasts an average useful LED life of 50,000 hours and a color rendering index (CRI) of 80, providing warm and inviting light. The color temperature includes an amber filter at 2700K, contributing to a soft and comfortable glow. Illuminance levels range according to distance, with 4.28 foot-candles at 0.7 feet and diminishing gradually with increased distance, making it ideal for accent and pathway lighting.
Materially, the PD combines a die-cast C360 brass faceplate with an A380 aluminum housing and a PBT construction box and sleeve, secured by stainless steel hardware for durability. The socket incorporates MoistureBlock™ technology to prevent moisture intrusion, enhancing fixture longevity. The integrated Cree LEDs feature gold-plated connectors and conformal coating for superior reliability and corrosion resistance. A proprietary intelligent driver manages firmware-controlled temperature regulation to maximize LED lifespan. The LEDs are field upgradeable and replaceable, with a maximum drive current of 1 ampere.
The PD is wired with 18 AWG SPT-1W cable rated for 220°F (105°C) and 300 volts, with a standard length of 10 feet (3 meters). It requires a remote transformer (specified separately) operating on 10–15 VAC/VDC at 50/60 Hz. The fixture includes polycarbonate lenses for adjustable color temperatures, with 2700K pre-installed and additional 3900K, 4500K, and 5200K options available. These lenses are field serviceable, allowing easy customization. The housing accommodates two integrated LEDs, and the faceplate features a textured polycarbonate lens designed for shock resistance and thermal expansion tolerance.
The PD includes tamper-resistant stainless steel fasteners and offers finish options such as natural brass, brushed antique bronze, tumbled antique brass, or durable TGIC powder coating. Antique finishes are sealed with a clear TGIC powder coat to enhance weather resistance. The fixture operates effectively in ambient temperatures ranging from 0°F to 140°F (-18°C to 60°C) and weighs 3.6 pounds (1.6 kilograms). Control options include Luxor ZD technology, enabling zoning and dimming of up to 250 groups in 1% increments.
Internationally, the PD complies with IEC 60598-1 and IEC 60598-2-7 standards when paired with the International Wall Kit (“EKITWALL”). Installation is designed for recessed mounting in vertical walls with downlighting orientation only. To meet International Dark-Sky Association guidelines, selecting a light source of 3000K or lower is recommended. The construction sleeve features vertical and horizontal ½-inch (13 mm) NPT knockouts and includes a sleeve protector to prevent wall caving during installation. The PD’s lighting distribution follows an IES Type IV classification, providing efficient, controlled illumination suitable for outdoor architectural and pathway lighting applications.
