The luminaire is constructed with extruded aluminum housing and die-cast aluminum components for strength and heat management. Its integral LED mini-driver is compact and efficient, simplifying installation while maintaining performance. Zen Pendant luminaires are certified to UL and CSA standards and are suitable for damp locations, with ambient operating temperatures ranging from 0°C to 40°C (32°F to 104°F).
Zen Pendant runs longer than 12 feet are configured as system runs (S#), composed of modular 4-foot and 8-foot segments that are easily joined on-site using Axis’s precision joining system. This modular design enhances installation flexibility while preserving visual continuity and performance consistency across extended lighting layouts.
With color temperature options of 3000K, 3500K, and 4000K and CRI ratings of 80 or 90, the Zen Pendant delivers high-quality color rendering and excellent consistency (within a 3-step MacAdam ellipse). The LEDs offer a minimum rated life of 50,000 hours, with 85% lumen maintenance at 25°C ambient, based on IES LM-80 standards. The luminaire supports direct outputs up to 900 lm/ft and direct/indirect configurations up to 1400 lm/ft, with efficacy reaching up to 135 lm/W.
