The PUZZLE collection features a buoyant and cheerful array of curvilinear surface lights, consisting of five organic shapes, each available in three sizes. These shapes are intentionally enigmatic, inviting individual interpretation and imagination. Designed to create remarkable and unique combinations on walls or ceilings, PUZZLE complements a wide variety of design themes and environments, adding an artistic and dynamic lighting element.
Constructed from steel and aluminum, the PUZZLE luminaires are finished with a durable powder coating for long-lasting aesthetic appeal. The lighting is softened and diffused through a protruding lens measuring 2.1mm (0.08"), providing a subtle yet effective illumination.
For enhanced safety, an optional remote emergency system offers a 1.5-hour emergency lighting facility (3 hours for EU). This system includes an inverter module, NiCad batteries, and a remote wall or ceiling-mounted LED charge indicator along with a test switch available in North America. The maximum distance between the wall or ceiling plate and the luminaire is 4.5 meters (15 feet), and the test switch fits a standard single gang box, which is not supplied.
The luminaire drivers are high power factor (HPF) electronic types suitable for 120-277V (EU-240V) input with 0-10V dimming down to 1%. These drivers are mounted remotely, with maximum wiring distances depending on wire gauge: 40 feet for 18 AWG, 60 feet for 16 AWG, and 90 feet for 14 AWG. Drivers must remain accessible after installation.
PUZZLE luminaires mount directly over a junction box (supplied by others in North America). They deliver consistent and high-quality lighting based on a 4000K color temperature with a minimum 80 CRI, ensuring both vibrant and natural illumination.
The fixtures boast a reported L70 lifespan of over 50,000 hours at 25°C (77°F), providing reliable and long-term performance. Additionally, PUZZLE is damp rated, making it suitable for a range of indoor environments that require moisture resistance.
