Engineered for ease of use and longevity, the Traveyo luminaires feature tool-less entry, a tool-less rotatable 7-pin NEMA® photocell receptacle, integrated T-level, and ±5° fixture leveling to simplify installation and ensure proper alignment. These street and area lights are ideal for residential roads, collector roadways, multi-lane highways, major roads, parking lots, and general area lighting. Whether selecting the TRVSM for small-scale installations or the TRVXL for larger thoroughfares, each model in the Traveyo family shares consistent design aesthetics and engineering quality.
Built with a rugged die-cast LM6 (A413) aluminum housing and stainless steel hardware, the Traveyo Series is designed to withstand harsh environments. It mounts to horizontal tenons ranging from 1.25" to 2" IP, with adjustable leveling and two 304-grade stainless steel mounting bolts. For added resilience, a four-bolt mounting option is also available. Weighing 14.4 lbs (6.5 kg), the luminaire includes ANSI-compliant utility labeling and a 7-pin photocell receptacle as standard features. The design is also DarkSky Approved and offers finish options in black, bronze, or grey to complement any streetscape.
Electrically, the Traveyo supports input voltages from 120-277V or 347-480V at 50/60Hz, with a power factor greater than 0.9 and total harmonic distortion below 20% at full load. Standard integral surge suppression provides 10kV/5kA protection, with an optional upgrade to 20kV/10kA. The luminaires support 0-10V dimming and are equipped with straight-in wiring terminals accommodating 6–14 AWG conductors. Operating reliably from -40°C to +50°C, the luminaire offers a stable lighting solution for varied climates and applications.
Regulatory and performance certifications include cULus listing, wet location suitability, ANSI C136.31 3G vibration resistance, CALTrans 611 testing, and RoHS compliance. The optical and LED assemblies are sealed to meet IP66 standards per IEC 60598-1, and the housing and lens are rated IK09 and IK10 respectively per IEC 62262:2002 for impact resistance. The fixture is FCC Part 15, Subpart B, Class A compliant and features durable components that passed ASTM B 845-97 Mixed Flowing Gas testing with no observed lumen or color degradation.
The Traveyo Series is also compatible with the Synapse® SimplySNAP lighting control platform for site and area applications. This browser-based system enables wireless control and monitoring via a reliable self-healing mesh network, accessible from smartphones, tablets, or PCs. When integrated with a Twist-Lock Lighting Controller and Site Controller, SimplySNAP supports energy management, code compliance, and enhanced lighting performance for campuses and large properties—though it is not designed for street lighting networks.
Assembled in the USA by Cree Lighting using both US and imported parts, the Traveyo Series meets Buy American requirements for ARRA compliance (excluding certain model options) and is available with a standard 5-year warranty, with an optional 10-year extension for added peace of mind.
