The EDGE® Square Series Flood luminaire is engineered with a slim, low-profile design and a rugged cast aluminum housing that reduces wind load requirements while providing exceptional durability. This luminaire features an integrated, weathertight LED driver compartment and high-performance aluminum heat sinks, making it ideal for demanding outdoor environments. Assembled in the USA by Cree Lighting using U.S. and imported parts, the EDGE® Square Flood delivers reliable performance and high efficiency across a broad range of applications including parking lots, campuses, walkways, car dealerships, internal roadways, and office complexes.
With light output ranging from 774 to 33,946 lumens and wattages between 19 and 263 watts, the EDGE® Square Flood can replace traditional sources up to 1000W metal halide while offering efficacy up to 136 lumens per watt. It is available in multiple CCT options including Turtle-friendly Amber, 3000K, 4000K, 5000K, and 5700K, and comes with CRI options of 70, 80, and 90 to meet varied visual performance needs. The fixture is cULus Listed, suitable for wet locations, and rated IP66 when specified appropriately, ensuring rugged protection against the elements.
Designed with Cree Lighting’s patented NanoOptic® Product Technology, the EDGE® Square Series delivers precise light control and optical performance. The luminaire's housing and mounting options are made from die-cast aluminum, with mounting configurations including Adjustable Arm, Direct Arm, Direct Arm Long, and Side Arm. The DA and DL mounts are designed to attach securely to 3"–6" square or round poles using interlocking mechanisms and 5/16-18 UNC bolts, while the AA and SA mounts fit standard 2" IP or 2.375" O.D. tenons. A leaf and debris guard is included for added maintenance protection.
The fixture’s electrical system supports input voltages of 120–277V or 347–480V at 50/60Hz with Class 1 drivers, delivering a power factor of >0.9 and total harmonic distortion under 20% at full load. It includes standard 10kV/5kA surge suppression protection and has various source current ratings depending on LED configurations. The DA and DL mounts include an integral, weathertight electrical box with terminal strips to simplify installation.
Additional features include 0–10V dimming and programmable multi-level (PML) control options. The fixture’s housing is finished in Cree’s exclusive Colorfast DeltaGuard® coating, which combines an E-Coat epoxy primer with a durable powder topcoat for exceptional resistance to UV degradation, corrosion, and abrasion. Available finish colors include black, bronze, silver, and white.
The EDGE® Square Series Flood luminaire meets or exceeds a wide range of regulatory and performance standards. It is tested to ANSI C136.2 and IEEE/ANSI C62.41.2 for surge protection, and meets FCC Part 15, Subpart B, Class A limits for electromagnetic emissions. It also complies with RoHS standards and endures 5,000 hours of salt fog exposure per ASTM B117, ensuring long-term reliability in harsh environments.
