The EDGE® wall mount fixtures support multiple CRI options (70, 80, and 90) and CCTs (3000K, 4000K, 5000K, 5700K), including a turtle-friendly amber LED option. This flexibility ensures the light quality can be tailored for both functional and environmental requirements. They are compatible with 0-10V dimming and PML control options and are available in finish colors such as black, bronze, silver, and white. These luminaires are cULus listed, DLC Standard certified, and rated for wet locations with a robust IP66 enclosure that safeguards the internal components from dust and water ingress.
Crafted with a sleek, low-profile design, the EDGE® wall mounts feature rugged die-cast aluminum end caps that house weather-tight driver compartments and high-performance aluminum heat sinks specifically built for LED technology. The main housing is made of durable aluminum and coated in Cree’s exclusive Colorfast DeltaGuard® finish—an E-Coat epoxy primer with an ultra-durable powder topcoat—to deliver superior resistance against corrosion, UV degradation, and abrasion. The fixture includes a lightweight mounting box for installation over standard or mud ring single-gang J-boxes, with additional conduit entry options on the top, bottom, sides, and rear for versatile wiring. Designed for uplight or downlight configurations, the luminaire allows through-wiring and includes a leaf and debris guard for added protection.
The optical system is powered by Cree’s patented NanoOptic® Product Technology, which ensures high-performance light distribution. These fixtures are also equipped with integral weathertight J-boxes and leads for simple power connections and include standard 10kV/5kA surge suppression for added durability. Input voltage options include 120–277V and 347–480V, operating at 50/60Hz with Class 1 drivers. They are built to maintain a power factor greater than 0.9 and a total harmonic distortion below 20% at full load. The series complies with ANSI C136.2 standards and is tested to IEEE/ANSI C62.41.2 for surge protection, while also meeting FCC Part 15, Subpart B, Class A limits for emissions. For durability under extreme conditions, these luminaires and their finishes have been endurance tested for 5,000 hours in salt fog as defined in ASTM B 117.
