With an output range of 3,150 to 9,275 lumens and input power between 21 to 60 watts, the RUL Series can replace traditional lighting systems such as 250W high-pressure sodium or 400W mercury vapor fixtures, all while delivering up to 155 lumens per watt. The series supports correlated color temperatures of 3000K, 4000K, and 5700K, with a minimum CRI of 70, ensuring consistent and accurate illumination. Its rugged construction includes a clear borosilicate glass lens and an ANSI C136.15-2020 utility label, along with a standard 3-pin NEMA® photocell receptacle and optional 7-pin Lift & Lock configuration for advanced control capabilities.
The RUL luminaire is built for real-world performance. It carries a standard 6kV/3kA surge protection, with options for 10kV/5kA or 20kV/10kA surge protection to meet stringent outdoor standards. Designed for wet locations and tested to ANSI C136.31-2001 3G vibration criteria, the fixture is suited for challenging environments like bridges and overpasses. It also meets FCC Part 15 Class A for electromagnetic emissions and is RoHS compliant. The fixture is DarkSky Approved when paired with the 3000K CCT and CS option, and it's DLC Premium and DLC LUNA qualified when ordered with compatible configurations.
The electrical system supports input voltages of 120-277V at 50/60Hz, maintains a power factor greater than 0.9, and keeps total harmonic distortion under 20% at full load. It includes 0-10V dimming to 10% and is compatible with ANSI C137.1-2019 (8-volt) dimming systems. Models with the DLI option meet DALI-2 and D4i standards under IEC 62386 for intelligent lighting networks. Operating temperatures range from -40°C to +40°C, ensuring year-round reliability.
Additional convenience features include an internal QR code that links to digital installation guides, luminaire-specific data, and warranty details. The housing includes 1" and 2" duplicate QR code labels for asset tracking and maintenance access, which can be scanned directly from the ground when properly mounted. The RUL Series is assembled in the USA using both domestic and imported components and is available with either a standard 5-year or optional 10-year limited warranty, making it a resilient and future-ready solution for rural and security lighting.
