Constructed from high-strength, lightweight bulk molding compound, the housing of the RSW Series is designed for durability in outdoor conditions. It features a UV-stabilized polymeric door with a built-in handle pocket for tool-less entry and straight-in wiring for ease of installation. The IP66-rated optic and driver enclosure ensures weatherproof reliability. The fixture mounts on horizontal tenons ranging from 1.25" to 2" in diameter and includes a built-in two-axis leveling T-level. Mounting hardware includes zinc-clad steel bolts, with optional 316 stainless steel or four-bolt configurations available for larger fixtures.
Electrical performance is equally robust. The luminaire supports input voltages of 120–277V or 347–480V for medium to extra-large models and maintains a power factor over 0.9 with less than 20% THD at full load. It includes integral 10kV/5kA surge protection, with an optional 20kV/10kA upgrade, and supports 0-10V dimming with a source current of 0.15mA. The operating temperature range extends from -40°C to +50°C for most models, ensuring reliability in extreme weather conditions.
The RSW Series comes standard with a NEMA 7-pin Lift & Lock photocell receptacle and utility label per ANSI C136.15-2020. It includes a scannable QR code inside the housing for quick access to product information, installation instructions, and warranty claims. Duplicate 1” and 2” QR code labels are provided for convenient placement in documentation or on-site components.
This product meets rigorous standards including cULus listing for wet locations, ANSI C136.31-2001 for 3G bridge vibration, and CALTrans 611 vibration testing. It complies with FCC Part 15 Class A emission limits, and its RoHS compliance supports environmentally responsible installations. Assembled in the USA from domestic and imported parts, the RSW Series qualifies as a commercially available off-the-shelf (COTS) item under the Buy American Act (BAA) and is eligible for many federally funded infrastructure projects.
