Correlated Color Temperature (CCT) options include 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, and 4000K, catering to a wide range of visual environments and design preferences. The downlights are universally compatible with input voltages from 120V to 277V (50/60Hz) and include provisions for mounting to E26 and GU24 sockets, as well as LED orange connectors for 120-277V and Cree’s traditional 277V connectors. The integrated driver and thermal management system help keep LED junction temperatures low, even in demanding ceiling conditions. The LR4X features an aluminum reflector for efficient light redirection and thermal conduction and is compatible with LXT4 snap-in trims. The fixture’s optical system is engineered with reflective and refractive elements to eliminate pixelation and hotspots while maintaining uniform light distribution. It features a beam angle of approximately 85° and a field angle of 140°, ensuring wide coverage and enhanced spatial perception.
For higher output needs, the LR6X version pushes performance further, delivering up to 3,000 lumens with a similar commitment to visual comfort, energy efficiency, and reliability. Designed with the same thermal and optical excellence as the LR4X, the LR6X includes deep-set polycarbonate diffusing lenses that provide excellent glare control and visual cutoff. With a beam angle near 90° and a 140° field angle, the LR6X is ideal for more expansive coverage areas. Like its 4-inch counterpart, it supports dimming down to 5% using most incandescent or trailing edge dimmers depending on voltage. It is also rated for operation in temperatures from -25°C to +35°C (-13°F to +95°F), though certain high-output models such as 18L, 24L, and 30L are recommended up to 30°C (86°F).
Both LR4X and LR6X downlights meet stringent regulatory and voluntary standards, including cULus classification, RoHS compliance, and FCC Part 15 Class B emissions. They are suitable for wet locations when installed in covered ceilings and comply with California Title 24 JA8 and Title 20 Appliance Efficiency regulations (with the exception of the 30L model under Title 20).
