Delivering up to 71,700 lumens at an efficacy of up to 144 lumens per watt, the HXB Series provides a powerful one-for-one replacement for 750W and 1000W HID luminaires. Designed to meet the needs of applications such as industrial plants, manufacturing facilities, warehouses, retail spaces, convention centers, and arenas, the HXB Series supports mounting heights of 30 feet or more. It features a robust thermal management system and long-lasting lumen maintenance, achieving an L70 rating of 100,000 hours at temperatures up to +60°C (140°F). Operating effectively in environments as cold as -40°C (-40°F), this luminaire maintains reliable performance across a broad temperature range.
Constructed with an aluminum bonded zipper fin heatsink and IP65-rated optics, the HXB Series is built for durability. Its IP6X optical system prevents the ingress of dirt and dust, ensuring consistent light output and reducing cleaning needs. The luminaire features a Fresnel lenslet medium distribution optic (1.4SC), making it ideal for evenly lit high-bay installations. Mounting options include hook and cord or pendant styles. The hook mount comes factory-installed with a spring-lock hook and a 6-foot power cord, while the pendant version accommodates a ¾-inch IP pendant (supplied by others). Both mounting types include a 39-inch tether for securing the fixture to the building structure.
The HXB Series supports input voltages of 120–277V or 347–480V at 50/60Hz, eliminating the need for step-down transformers. Its electrical system is optimized with a power factor greater than 0.9 and total harmonic distortion under 20%. Transient protection is provided by ANSI C136.2 6kV/3kA surge protection, tested in accordance with IEEE/ANSI C62.41.2. Standard 0–10V dimming allows for smooth dimming down to 10%, and the luminaire supports a 10V source current of 0.30mA.
Available with CRI options of 70 or 80, and in correlated color temperatures of 3500K, 4000K, or 5000K, the HXB Series balances color quality and visual clarity for various industrial applications. Each luminaire is backed by a 10-year limited warranty, with up to 5 years of coverage for Synapse® accessories and 1 year for standard luminaire accessories.
The HXB Series is cULus listed and suitable for damp locations. It requires supply conductors rated at 90°C minimum and is designed specifically for downlight-only applications. To ensure proper installation, all mounting hardware and customer-supplied J-boxes must be rated to support the luminaire's maximum weight. Additionally, the HXB Series complies with FCC Part 15, Subpart B, Class A standards for conducted and radiated emissions and is RoHS compliant. Assembled in the USA from domestic and imported parts, many configurations also meet Buy American Act (BAA) and Build America, Buy America (BABA) requirements.
