The aLance-6 is a sleek, ultra-modern area luminaire that brings together minimalist design and advanced performance for contemporary outdoor lighting applications. Constructed from die-cast aluminum, this fixture is engineered for durability and clean aesthetics, making it ideal for pathways, entryways, and modern architectural landscapes. It is available in a standard aluminum finish, with an optional RGBW version that works seamlessly with ZDClink® controllers for enhanced zoning, dimming, and color control.
The aLance-6 delivers a total light output of 95 lumens with a maximum power consumption of 4.3 watts. It operates on an input voltage of 10–15 Vac/dc for white light configurations and 11–15 Vac/dc for RGBW versions, both at 50/60 Hz. A remote transformer is required and must be specified separately. The fixture integrates an onboard driver and features high-performance Lumileds® LEDs for white light and Cree® LEDs for RGBW. Thermal regulation is managed by CoolDrive™ technology, ensuring optimal performance and longevity. The white LED version offers a typical lifespan of over 72,000 hours, while the RGBW model lasts up to 55,000 hours.
Lighting control is enhanced through compatibility with the Luxor® system. The ZDClink Controller enables zoning of up to 250 groups, dimming in 1% increments, and access to over 30,000 color options with RGBW LEDs. Users can choose between standard zoning/dimming (ZD) or full color zoning/dimming control (ZDC).
Designed exclusively for downward lighting applications, the aLance-6 comes with a 30-inch length of standard North American 1.0" schedule 40 conduit and a conduit stabilizer for secure installation. The fixture includes tamper-resistant stainless steel hardware and a rugged aluminum A380 housing with marine-grade anodization and a polyester TGIC powder-coat finish, providing outstanding resistance to outdoor weather conditions. The finish has been rigorously tested to meet ASTM standards.
Additional technical features include a frosted polycarbonate lens with excellent shock resistance and high tolerance for thermal expansion and stress. The luminaire uses MicroAntileach™ socket technology to prevent moisture intrusion and is rated for operation in ambient temperatures ranging from 0°F to 140°F (-18°C to 60°C). It comes equipped with 18 AWG wiring, rated for 300 V and 220°F, with a standard length of 10 feet from the light aperture.
The aLance-6 is rated IP65 for protection against dust and water, and is suitable for dry, damp, and wet locations. It has a BUG rating of B0-U1-G0, supporting low-glare, dark-sky friendly designs. Certifications include UL 1838, CSA C22.2 No. 250.7, IEC 60598-1 and -2-4, FCC Part 15 Subpart B, ISED Canada ICES-005, EN 55015, EN 61547, EN 61000-3-2, and EN 61000-3-3.
