The E550LED Euro incorporates a UL-recognized, integral LED driver optimized for long-term performance. This driver operates at 50/60Hz, is dimming-capable using a 0–10V signal, and includes overload, overheat, and short-circuit protection, as well as supplemental surge protection in accordance with IEEE/ANSI C62.41.2 guidelines. High efficiency, a total harmonic distortion of less than 20%, and a power factor greater than 0.9 ensure consistent, reliable illumination. An optional Fixed Dimming Resistor Board (FDRB) provides a numbered 10-step selector switch, allowing field adjustment of light levels from 25% to 100% of the original output.
NightSky® Friendly optics with a U0 BUG rating are available for configurations requiring dark-sky compliance, minimizing light pollution while maintaining effective area illumination. The fixture uses fully shielded, downward-facing LEDs to maximize efficiency and thermal transfer to the heat sink.
